100 Philips Remains Lit

100 Philips Remains Lit Lights Review
product images

If you've already read the Noma Stay-Lit review, there's no
need to read this.

This is quite possibly the best thing ever done to mini lights!
What makes these special over normal mini lights?

Very simple. No more "ONE LIGHT GOES OUT, THEY ALL GO OUT".

Yep, that's right.... no more searching the entire string just
to find one bad bulb that causes the whole thing to go out!
Anyone who has used mini lights knows the frustration of
dealing with bad/loose bulbs (if not you're very lucky)

While these are more expensive than standard lights, the extra
cost is well worth it if you put lights in hard to reach
places such as tall trees that would require either climbing
the tree and/or removing the lights to fix... or for example 3
stories up where you'd have to get on the roof (esp true if
snowy/icy...that's no fun and not to mention dangerous)

Bad bulbs are of course the hardest problem to find/fix, but
there's then the problem of missing bulbs... these sets take
care of that one too. Remove 1 or more bulbs from their
sockets and the set will remain on, but the set will get
slightly dimmer with each additional one removed...this is
actually a good thing as it will increase the life of all
remaining bulbs

So how does it work?
Each socket contains a electronic 'device' that takes over if
a bulb fails (an added bonus to this is that if you put the
the wrong type of bulb in the set, the less chance you have of
blowing that bulb

Interesting things:
You know what happens if you place a 'flasher bulb' in a normal
set of mini lights? the whole set (or a section of it) flashes.
Right?... Well it works a little diff with these: only the
'flasher bulb' blinks! (the set will dim slightly too)
